This study looks at the developments in Language Teaching and Learning (LT&L) since 2020. It is informed by the contributions in this volume and the relevant, wider theoretical framework. It is written from the perspective of the teaching practitioner for the teaching practitioner and focuses on innovative tools and practices that emerged recently in LT&L. Although it emphasises the technical affordances and the relevant approaches and methodological solutions that empower teachers and learners, it does not neglect the dangers of teachers and learners relying too much on tools, disregarding sound pedagogical principles. It rather sees proven concepts reinforced by new tools. Thus, it stresses the responsibility of teachers and learners in their interaction with technology, so that not only the forced digital innovations in LT&L (during the pandemic) but also the necessary take over from the GenAI impact into LT&L contribute to a fruitful interaction of language teachers and language learners through modern technologies.

Abstract
Thus, it stresses the responsibility of teachers and learners in their interaction with technology, so that not only the forced digital innovations in LT&L (during the pandemic) but also the necessary take over from the GenAI impact into LT&L contribute to a fruitful interaction of language teachers and language learners through modern technologies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
