A double-blind study was performed on 85 patients with alopecia areata in order to assess the capacity of topical cyclosporin A to produce hair regrowth. No difference was found between the cyclosporin and the placebo. The failure to find detectable blood levels of the drug suggests that its transcutaneous absorption is poor. © 1992 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.

Abstract
A double-blind study was performed on 85 patients with alopecia areata in order to assess the capacity of topical cyclosporin A to produce hair regrowth. No difference was found between the cyclosporin and the placebo. The failure to find detectable blood levels of the drug suggests that its transcutaneous absorption is poor. © 1992 Informa UK Ltd All rights reserved: reproduction in whole or part not permitted.File in questo prodotto:
