HCV has been related to several extrahepatic manifestations, especially dermatological, which can be the only sign of the infection. The list of dermatological manifestations includes disorders with sure relationship (mixed cryoglobulinemia and porphyria cutanea tarda), disorders with probable relationship (lichen planus), disorders with possible relationship (polyarteritis nodosa, lymphocytic Sjogren-like sialoadenitis, prurigo), anecdotal associations (leucocytoclastic vasculitis, erythema multiforme, urticaria, erythema nodosum, Behcet syndrome) and manifestations related to the interferon treatment.
