Pancreas' IPMT (Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Tumor) is a rare disease characterized by proliferation of the epithelium lining the pancreatic ducts. This intraductal proliferation produces a variable amount of mucin that causes dilation of the main pancreatic duct or its mayor branches. Endoscopic procedures are essential to the diagnosis of IPMT including endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, pancreatoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, optical coherence tomography.
