A 63-year-old-female presented to outpatients complaining of mucous discharge. Thirteen years earlier, she had undergone colonoscopic polypectomy for a rectal polyp with a large stalk identified in the histopathology report as tubulovillous adenoma with high-grade dysplasia. In the years that followed, the patient had repeated surveillance colonoscopies with recurrent polyps removed on several occasions. Histopathology always confirmed high-grade dysplasia.
