This article reconstructs the philosophical itinerary of Jean-Paul Sartre on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of his birth, tracing the development of his thought from the early phenomenological works to the late political writings. It examines the central themes of radical freedom, bad faith, existentialist engagement, and the progressive-regressive method, showing how Sartre continuously renegotiated the relationship between individual subjectivity, history, and Marxism. Special attention is given to the psychobiographical works — on Baudelaire, Genet, and Flaubert — as laboratories for his evolving conception of the subject constituted through otherness and situation.
