This paper examines the impact of Søren Kierkegaard’s philosophy on the early 20thcentury German thought, particularly on Walter Benjamin and Hannah Arendt. The investigation aims to explore the political potential of Kierkegaardian theological concepts, specifically the construction of the political subject and the interplay between consensus and dissensus. Consequently, a Kierkegaardian political theory is outlined that could enhance a theory of radical democracy.
