abstract: After 25 years after being published Political liberalism by John Rawls is still a best seller, both to the “Rawlsians” and to the “anti-Rawlsians”. Indeed, Political liberalism has been extensively criticized, as it shows a lot of shortcomings from a variety of points of view, theoretically and normatively. The following papers are interesting chapters of a continuing debate about methodological matters and political normativity, including questions such as politics and truth, reasonableness and toleration, democracy and justice.
